Once you have registered a domain name, you can start using your new email address almost immediately. In fact our standard hosting package gives you up to 20 defined email addresses.

Your email address includes part of your domain name, hence if you register "www.yourcompany.co.uk" you can have email addresses in the form "sales@yourcompany.co.uk" or "nsmith@yourcompany.co.uk"

In order to use email you will need to have an existing dial-up account with an ISP (Internet Service Provider) or will need to set one up - we can advise or help with this if required. All emails can be redirected to one address that you already use or each one can be redirected to a different address. Common ISPs include Freeserve, AOL, NTL, BT etc.

Using your dial up account you will receive emails that are sent to your new email address(es) in addition to any that are sent to your existing address, if you have one.

A huge advantage of having your own domain name and associated email address is that if you ever need to change your ISP (e.g. from NTL to BT), your email address remains stable. This is great news if you have had stationery and business cards printed.
